Who we are

Giovanni Vergani

Founding partner and CEO

 

Before founding ADDWISE in 2014, Giovanni was Managing Director at Credit Suisse working in the Private Banking division for over 18 years. He witnessed various phases which radically shaped the industry, developing a strong insight into relevant dynamics of Wealth management.

Giovanni acquired a deep business experience and regulatory knowledge related to Latin American and western European markets, with special emphasis on Brazil, Caribbean, UK and Italy, where he held managerial positions within the front organization serving UHNWI and HNWI.

Giovanni was often a pioneer in developing solutions aiming at preserving and enhancing the competitiveness of the Swiss Private Banking model, in the new contest of tax compliancy, increased consumer protection and integration between onshore and offshore activities. Long-lasting militancy in the sector helped him to build an extended network of investors, private bankers and professionals,  active in the specific market.

Experience and intellectual capital allow him to tackle effectively strategic questions within Wealth management and above all to implement actions according to best practices.

Giovanni holds a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich.
